Which version am I looking at?

This site is published in four places at once — two views of the content, each in a stable and a development version. If you followed an older link it has probably expired; everything you need is below.

Public view · stable

The site as an external audience would see it, built from the reviewed main branch. This is the version to comment on.

Internal view · stable

The same content with everything switched on — user needs, the product catalogue, editing and analytics tools, and design prototypes. Richer, and rougher.

The two views

Both views are built from one set of content. The difference is what is carried through to the published files, not what is hidden by the browser.

Public view — the finished product. Only content marked as publishable, with internal-only fields stripped out at build time, and the editorial and maintenance pages left out entirely.
Internal view — the full corpus. Adds the user needs behind the use cases, the full Copernicus product catalogue, the content editor and analytics, the writing guidelines, and prototypes of page designs we are still deciding on. Expect drafts and rough edges: that is what it is for.

Stable and development

Each view is published twice, from two branches:
